For DC voltage, AC voltage, current, resistance, diode, and battery tests, insert the red probe into the "VΩmA" jack and the black probe into the "COM" jack.
For DC current measurements exceeding 200mA, insert the red probe into the "10ADC" jack and the black probe into the "COM" jack, adjusting the function switch accordingly.
When testing transistors (HFE), insert the PNP or NPN transistor leads into the corresponding E, B, C jacks and set the function switch to the "HFE" position.
